Javascript errors "generated" where there are none.
First of all, English isn't my primary language, forgive me if there are errors in my spelling/grammar. Since a few weeks all my browsers have started to see javascript errors in pieces of code that are perfectly fine (perfectly fine as in, let's say, the jQuery library or website software). In other words, you could describe it as "imaginary errors". Examples are that it says there is a syntax error on the ";" symbol, or that a "}" is expected, when there aren't any blocks of code that need to be closed. Often these errors occur in the core javascript file of a website (for example, Joomla and vBulletin), because of this, there is a chainreaction of errors that are all caused by an "imaginary" error. As a result I'm unable to do anything on the site. If you're thinking it's a problem with the site, it's not. Try going to ANY XenForo/vBulletin/Joomla site you know. Do you get a javascript error? I do. Another VERY weird thing is that it also happens on a virtual machine (hosted by my OS). I've spoken with various people about it and they said they've never seen anything like it and have no idea what it could possibly be, so I've turned to the experts for help. If I'm not giving enough information, please say it, so I can add it. I really hope someone on here knows why this is happening and if there is a way to fix it, other than re-installing Windows. Thanks in advance.

Hi, According to your description, I suggest to perform these tests to troubleshoot the issue: 1 Turn off the Scripting Debugger in Internet Explorer 8, follow these steps: IE\Tools\Internet Options\Advanced, select the option “Disable script debugging” “Display a notification about every script error” 2 Remove IE temporary files, cookies 3 Run IE with no add-ons mode If the issue persists, please logon with safe mode with networking, reset IE settings. Furthermore, I suggest to contact IE forum for further help: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ieitprocurrentver/threads The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us.
